1. FEBC will offer 13 courses to the laity/public in the new semester commencing 18 July 2022.
2. Day/Night classes are held at 9A Gilstead Road, Singapore 309063. Registered students are welcome back to take the classes physically on campus. The classes will also be livestreamed, and the videos will remain online for those unable to take the classes as scheduled.

BIBLICAL EPISTEMOLOGY

Epistemology concerns the nature and grounds of knowledge how we know what we know? For Christians, who believe that the truth makes us free (John 8:32), the question of how we can know what is true must be considered of prime importance. In our present age it is often assumed that only science can lead us to true knowledge: in this course we will consider the biblical teaching on the subject, as well as some examples of how this teaching ought to be applied.

This course is a study on the history of the Church from the Reformation to the present day. Consideration is given to the forerunners, causes, progress, chief leaders, and effects of the 16^th century Reformation and of the status of the Roman and Protestant churches today.

EARN YOUR CERTIFICATE

Certificate of Religious Knowledge (CertRK)

The CertRK is a Bible study programme at the basic level. The successful completion of 20 credits earns the CertRK.

Certificate of Biblical Studies (CertBS)

The CertBS is a Bible study programme at the advanced level. The successful completion of 40 credits (or 20 credits beyond the CertRK) earns the CertBS.

THANKSGIVING TESTIMONIES

Dear Dn Charles, greeting you in the blessed name of our risen Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

I would like to say thank you to Pastor Khoo, the Session and all True Lifers for the continued support and praying for us. Thank God for answering prayers and providing for us better lightings. Last month, we bought a bigger solar panel glass (size 60 by 120 c). The solar panel is to receive energy from the sunlight. Thank God we can connect the solar panel to store up energy to use the lights at night and to charge the phone. Now the children are happy and eager to come at night to read the Bible together.

Thank God for sister Wendy Teng who sends me the Indonesian RPG pdf files which are useful for me to share God’s Word to the children. Thank God also for sister Katherine Go for sending me the Sunday School lessons/materials. I learned much from them and they help me to share God’s Word to the children. Thank God for others whom God has used as channels of blessings.

The number of children who come is fewer. This is because some high school students now own a smartphone. But there are children who come. Some parents say they are very happy their children can learn God’s Word which is important. They testify that the children are so courageous; they want to sing and praise God. Before this they were very shy. Some of them are happy because the children have improved in their reading.

Please continue to pray for us, for me to have the courage to share God’s Word. Despite those who can see God’s blessings, there are sneers too. Pray for the children that the lessons they learn from God’s Word may speak to their hearts and that they will grow in the faith and knowledge of Christ. God bless. Margaretha Gole, 12 June 2022
